As reported by the Panoptykon Foundation, the idea of creating further registers of blocked websites is coming back. After the act of gambling, the government was targeted by the companies that mediate in the transport of people (which is supposed to hit Uber in particular) and websites that allow the purchase of legal highs via the Internet. In the information published on the Foundation's website, we can read that two new, independent registers would be created.
The first one is about transporting people and contains, apart from websites (domains), also "mobile applications, computer programs, teleinformation systems and other information transmissions used, for brokering persons not complying with the act". While in the case of blocking domains, this is to be solved in the manner that takes place in the gambling act, it wonders how the legislator imagines blocking mobile applications and computer programs.
The register of banned sites about afterburners is the idea of the Ministry of Health. Its assumptions are similar to those in the Gambling Act. A central, nationwide register of domains is to be created, which internet providers are supposed to block and prevent access to.
